Easy One-Pan Chicken Parmesan

Written by COA Nutrition Team On August 5, 2022

Looking for easy dinner ideas kids will love? We have another one-pan recipe that you can whip in just a few minutes!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 4 Chicken Breasts, boneless
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar
  • 16 oz. Crushed Tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoons Basil, chopped – or 1 tsp. dried basil
  • 4 slices Mozzarella Cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. If the chicken breasts are thick, flatten them slightly with a meat mallet. It will help them to cook more quickly and evenly.
  2. Season one side of the chicken with salt, pepper, and half of the Italian seasoning.
  3. In a large pan, heat up olive oil and add the chicken, seasoned side down, and cook for 8-10 minutes. (Put a lid on while cooking so the meat doesn’t cook dry.)
  4. Season another side of chicken with salt, pepper, and remaining Italian Seasoning while the first side is cooking.

Yes, you should get an air fryer!

There are a lot of questions popping out when it comes to this latest kitchen craze. Is it worth buying an air fryer? Here are some reasons why we think so: • Easy to clean • Easy to use • Safe to use • Healthier meals • Doesn’t take up much space • Faster Than Oven Cooking An air fryer is an incredibly easy way to cook just about anything. You place the food in a fryer-style basket and hot air rapidly circulates all around the food, making the food crisp – much like deep-frying, but without the oil. You can cook anything you’d make in the oven. So, yes, DO IT!
